Important Updates!

Dear Patient,

First of all, I want to thank you for being my patient, some of you for many years.

I am happy to continue being your doctor, but due to a loss of our lease in our Rockville, MD location, and continued difficulty finding staffing for that office, I’ve decided to close the Rockville location October 15, 2023 . I will work solely from the Frederick office located at 172 Thomas Johnson Dr. Suite 100, Frederick, MD. 21702. The drive from the Rockville office is estimated at about 35-minutes [depending on traffic, of course.]

I am very sorry for this change and inconvenience. I very much hope that coming to Frederick is doable for you or that virtual visits are a good fit for you.

If neither of these options are workable, I will miss seeing you and am thankful for having the opportunity to be your doctor, but will gladly and promptly forward your medical records to any new provider you select.

Wishing you the best in health and happiness,

Konrad W. Bakker, M.D.

Coronavirus Announcement

Dear Valued Patients,

As Coronavirus (COVID-19) remains a frequent topic of global news, we want to reassure you that our practice is monitoring the situation closely.

The following preventive measures should be taken to help reduce the spread of COVID-19:

  • Stay home when you are sick and avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. If you do not have a tissue, use your sleeve (not your hands).

COVID 19

Dr. Bakker, Sarah Jamieson, PA-C and all the staff here at CNSM all share your concern regarding the   coronavirus [Covid-19] and are monitoring the situation carefully.

During this challenging time many people are trying to limit their interpersonal interactions. To help facilitate this we are now offering Virtual Visits.  Please call our office to learn if you are eligible, how to prepare, and to schedule an appointment.

In our office we are working to limit the risk of exposure for you, our employees and the community at large. We have increased sanitizing measures within the office. Besides our regular protocols regarding hand washing hygiene and thorough cleanings, we have increased the frequency of disinfecting of frequent touch points including wiping down each pen and clip board before your use. You will also be asked to use hand sanitizer when you check in.

If you are have traveled to an area affected by the coronavirus, have been exposed, are feeling sick, have a fever and or cough, please contact your primary care physician for instruction and self-quarantine until you are cleared of any infectious disease.
